FINEX

FINEX makes the most distinctive cast iron in America: octagonal, machine-polished skillets with signature stainless-and-brass spring handles. Founded in Portland, Oregon in 2012 and acquired by Lodge in 2019, it pairs design-studio craftsmanship with the resources of the country’s oldest cast iron maker.

American Manufacturing

Verified: July 2026

Since Lodge acquired FINEX in 2019, the iron is cast at Lodge’s foundries in Tennessee, then shipped to Portland, Oregon, where FINEX drills, machines, polishes, assembles, and seasons every skillet by hand. It is genuinely made in the USA end to end, with a stainless-and-brass handle and no coatings. We verified this against the manufacturer and independent press.
